My Story

Ms. Niby, a first-generation half Chinese American artist from Seattle, embodies the spirit of self-discovery and spirituality in her work. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she always felt a unique blend of cultures and identities, which fueled her lifelong passion for understanding herself and the world around her. Her journey of self-discovery took her across the United States, where she explored diverse landscapes and communities, each step bringing her closer to a profound sense of belonging.

Returning to Seattle, Ms. Niby found a deeper connection to her roots and a renewed purpose. She channels her experiences and insights into her art, recently embracing mural painting to transform public spaces into vibrant reflections of community and identity. Her art, rich in symbolism and color, invite viewers to embark on their own journeys of self-exploration.
